LongPoint offers a unique platform which allows partnership firms to solely use their own branding in the name of the ETF which is a powerful component of product messaging to the marketplace.

LongPoint Asset Management Inc. acts as the Investment Fund Manager and is responsible for the operating and decision making on the ETF, allowing partner firms to focus on distribution as co-promoters.

Our model provides flexibility on portfolio management and sub-advisors, either acting internally or working with firms with the applicable registrations.

LongPoint’s partnership ETFs are with firms that have unique mandates. We partner with Canadian, U.S., and international asset managers and index providers who want exposure to Canadian ETFs but lack the necessary infrastructure to operate ETFs themselves.

LongPoint’s partnership services include:

ETF strategy and product planning to lead intelligent ETF design focused on unique mandates, tradability and liquidity
ETF management and operations overseeing ETF administration, financial reporting and other operational aspects
ETF regulatory and compliance to maintain ETF registrations and regulatory adherence including Independent Review Committee (IRC) functions
ETF portfolio management and trading to support ongoing trading, capital activity and ETF liquidity
Capital markets monitoring to ensure a positive client experience, targeting ongoing market depth and effective bid-ask spreads

This ETF is an alternative mutual fund, as such, FORU is permitted to invest in asset classes or use investment strategies that are not permitted for other types of mutual funds.
